8th Graders went to see "The Book Of Life" at AMC Theaters on Friday, November 14th.  We had a blast and learned a lot about Mexican Culture especially El Día De Los Muertos.  Students also learned a little about Bullfighting, La Calavera Catrian or La Muerte, Papel Picado, Sugar Skulls, Churros, Cemeteries during Día de Los Muertos, Mayan Art, and Tenochtitlan.  

In Lección 3 they will learn:
*How to talk about their family and friends
*Describe people and things
*Express possession

*Surnames and families in the Spanish-Speaking world
*Spain's Royal Family
*The importance of a Quinceañera in a Hispanic girl's life
